A campaign is configured across five tabs. This page walks through each one.
1. Import leads (Leads tab)
Three ways to add prospects:
- From a list — pull contacts from one of your existing email lists.
- Manual paste — paste CSV text:
email, first_name, last_name, company. - File upload —
.csv,.xlsxor.xls; map columns to fields, including custom fields.
Imports can append to or replace the current leads. Each lead can be edited later — including their status and extra meta fields used by personalization.
2. Build the sequence (Sequences tab)
- Step 1 sends as soon as a lead is processed; every later step waits a delay you choose — minutes, hours, days, weeks or months.
- Each step has its own subject, body and footer.
- A/B test any step by enabling Variant B and dragging the split slider (10–90%) — each lead randomly gets one variant.
- Personalize with variables:
{firstName},{lastName},{fullName},{email},{company}plus your own fields. - Use preview to see a rendered step with real lead data before going live.
Follow-up pacing
Space follow-ups at least 2–4 days apart and keep total steps small — 3–5 touches is a common cold-outreach cadence.
3. Set the schedule (Schedule tab)
- Pick your timezone, then choose the days and time blocks when mail may go out.
max_per_day— hard daily cap for the campaign.rate_per_minute— maximum sends per minute per server.- Minimum delay — extra spacing between individual sends.
- Toggle open tracking and click tracking here.
Sends outside the window simply wait for the next block — nothing is lost.
4. Options tab
- Stop on reply — halt follow-ups when a lead is marked replied.
- Tracking domain — use one of your verified tracking domains.
- BCC — silently copy every send to a CRM address.
- Footer — customize the footer;
{unsubscribe_url}inserts the unsubscribe link (one is appended automatically if you don't). - Sending accounts — which delivery servers may send, with rotation to spread volume across them.
5. Launch
Press Start on the campaign. You can Pause, Resume or Duplicate at any time. Watch progress on the Analytics tab — see Tracking & results.
