AI modes
| Mode | What it does |

| Copilot | AI drafts suggestions; you edit and send everything yourself. |
| Approval | AI writes replies and queues them for your approval — nothing sends unattended. |
| Autopilot | AI replies automatically, within the rules configured by your admin. |
Your AI settings
Open Settings → UniBox AI to control:
- Mode and which channels AI may touch.
- BYOK — bring your own AI key, plus pick reply and summary models (when your plan allows it).
- A 7-day stats strip and the AI event log showing what was drafted, approved, sent or handed off.
When AI steps back
Even in autopilot, the AI hands the conversation to a human when it hits a configured trigger — asking for a person, low confidence, sensitive topics like refunds or billing, or too many exchanges.
Good habits
- Start in Copilot or Approval until you trust the drafts.
- Keep reply templates handy — they're still the fastest path for known questions.
- Watch the event log for the first few days to see what the AI is doing.
